Competition Terms & Conditions

  2. The competition is open to all individuals aged 18 and over, except for employees of Ile De Chocolate and their immediate families.

  3. To enter the competition, participants must complete the subscription or entry form on Ile De Chocolate's website and follow the instructions provided. Only one entry is allowed per person.

  4. The prize for the competition is an in person chocolate making experience at the premises of Ile De Chocolate in Knysna for four people. The value of the price is set at R3200.00 (ZAR). The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 

  5. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received by the closing date of the competition, which will be announced on Ile De Chocolate's website and social media pages. The decision of Ile De Chocolate is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  6. The winner will be notified by email or phone within 7 days of the closing date and be issued a gift certificate. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, Ile De Chocolate reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select a new winner.

  7. The gift certificate will be valid for 1 year from date of issue.  

  8. Ile De Chocolate reserves the right to cancel or alter the competition at any time without notice.

  9. By entering the competition, participants agree to these terms and conditions and Ile De Chocolate's privacy policy, which can be found on Ile De Chocolate's website.

  10. The competition and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.

  11. Any personal data collected from participants will be used solely for the purposes of this competition and will not be shared with any third parties.

  12. By entering the competition, participants grant Ile De Chocolate the right to use their name, image, and likeness for promotional purposes.
